Welcome to my world of creativity and imagination from the mind of a Visual Communications major on the spectrum. My name is Emily Jeanne Moriarty and this is a portfolio of projects from my Practicum experience and many other works during the 2018 Spring semester at SUNY Orange in Middletown, New York. Although I did not travel for my internship as a Graphic Designer and Multimedia Artist, I was able to help aid and create pleasing designs to help promote events ranging from a flyer design to a poster for a bulletin board while learning communication, collaboration and teamwork, and solving design problems. The experience was a good kind of stress in time management skills as I learned to balance the projects for Practicum and my other projects and assignments for other classes, hence, balancing class and internship for school. Overall, it was similar to my experience and competitiveness at Orange-Ulster BOCES Career and Technical Education's Digital Design and Advertising during my last two years of high school.
